We all know that our dogs love nothing more than going for a walk. A daily walk is important to keep them physically active and to ensure they remain mentally stimulated.

A daily walk can alleviate boredom in your pet and nullify negative behavioural issues such as excessive barking, excessive grooming, destructive or aggressive behaviour. After all, a tired dog is a happy dog!

You can choose to have your dog(s) taken on a half hour or hourly walk.

Doggy bootcamp is where the fun starts!

Bootcamp is a two hour service. The first hour is spent on a structured walk to burn up that excess energy and the second hour is spent socialising the dogs where they can play in a group environment in one of Canberra’s off leash dog parks. I run a maximum of 8 dogs per bootcamp. By keeping the numbers lower I can provide your dog with much more attention to ensure they are socialising properly and not developing any undesirable behavioural traits. Not to mention they get much more 1 on 1 TLC!!

Alternatively if 2 hours is too much excitement for your pet a 1 hour service focusses on socialisation and allows your pet a play around with his new pooch pals and take things at their own pace.

When you enquire about booking your dog for bootcamp I will come to meet you and your dog for an obligation free assessment. We’ll have a quick chat to work out what group your pooch is best suited and a suitable pick up/drop off routine. Most clients choose to provide me with a gate or house key at this time.

On the day of the bootcamp your dog will be picked up between 8:00 – 9am and will be dropped back off between 11:30am – 12:30pm.

At the conclusion of the bootcamp you will be sent a text message letting you know that your beloved pet is home safe and sound after their big adventure. No matter what your dogs preference I can assure you I have never met a dog that doesn’t love bootcamp!

The beauty of my pet minding service is that I care for your pet in the comfort of their own home where they remain in a familiar and relaxed environment.

In-home pet minding is great for the Monday-Friday worker that wants the peace of mind to know their pet received some exercise and TLC during the day.

In-home pet minding is also great for pet owners going away on holidays. An unfortunate part of going away is the worry of our pets being properly cared for. I’ve seen first-hand how stressful the kennels can be. Our pets get so used to their creature comforts (pardon the pun) at home that the drastic change of environment can cause them to be very anxious and unhappy.

I offer a wide range of in-home pet minding services and I can tailor the visit to whatever your pets needs may be. Whether that be a walk, playtime, grooming or feeding. All visits include plenty of pats and cuddles!

I offer a half hour visit (offered up to twice daily), an hourly visit (offered up to twice daily) and a holiday package.

I have extensive experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish and reptiles.
